Bringing the teachings of Christ to children, youth, and adults

The Education Team develops and administers Christian-based education programs and resources that address spiritual, academic, and practical needs across the lifecycle of human and spiritual development, from preschool through the retirement years. The responsibilities associated with this goal include, but are not limited to:

• Developing and evaluating a strategic plan for Christian education at JCPC that spans educational needs across a range of constituencies represented by our congregation
• Providing a breadth and depth of Christian-based educational resources to support formal learning, informal group study, and individual development
• Offering an outstanding preschool experience that provides significant advantages over other options in the local tri-county area and helps to position JCPC as a spiritual home and caring family in Jesus Christ
• Offering a vibrant youth program to nurture faith in Jesus Christ and develop that faith across the various stages of childhood development
• Offering comprehensive children and adult Sunday school offerings that address congregational interests and needs
• Developing and evaluating small groups learning options that enhance formal educational programming and provide opportunities to extend the teachings of Christ to a broader audience in a more personal manner
• Identifying and offering unique educational programs that leverage the strengths of our staff, our facilities, and our congregation
