Worship
At JCPC, we believe in glorifying God through our Sunday worship
services!
Our Sunday worship services are a blend of traditional and
contemporary components of Reformed worship. Services are
filled with prayer, participation, and glorious music all for the
praise of our Lord.
Children's Worship
Here at Johns Creek Presbyterian Church, we believe worship is
the most important thing we do, and we want children to experience
the joy of worshipping God!
We offer a Children's Worship for children in grades K-3
during the 11:00 am service. Children wishing to participate
in our special program attend the beginning of the service with
their parent(s) and immediately following the Children's Sermon
will be escorted to the Calvin Room to participate in a
kid-friendly worship service that includes prayer, scripture,
music, and a short sermon. Children may be picked up in the
Calvin Room at the conclusion of the 11:00 am service.
There is no need to sign up to participate and Children's
Worship is an optional extension of our Sunday worship
schedule.
Sacraments
Baptism
Both believers and their children are included in God's covenant
of love. Baptism, whether administered to those who profess
their faith or to those presented for Baptism as children, is one
and the same Sacrament. For more information about scheduling
a baptism or to speak with a pastor about your questions, please
contact the church office to make an appointment.
Holy Communion
At JCPC, we celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every
month. The Lord's Supper is the sign and seal of eating and
drinking in communion with the crucified and risen Lord. At
the Lord's Table, the Church is renewed and empowered by the memory
of Christ's life, death, resurrection, and the promise to return;
sustained by Christ's pledge of undying love and continuing
presence with God's people; and sealed in God's covenant of grace
through partaking of Christ's self-offering.
