2026 Work Trip & Support for Western North Carolina

The devastation from Hurricane Helene in October 2024 is still being felt by residents of Asheville, NC and the surrounding areas; many families remain without permanent housing. As we did last fall, JCPC is sending a team for a weeklong volunteer work trip September 27 - October 3 to help. Please join us! We can take a maximum of 10 adults. No formal construction experience is required, simply a willingness to help with whatever needs to be done. We will be housed at New Hope Presbyterian Church in Asheville, and we will work under the supervision of local disaster relief agencies. If you cannot go on the trip but want to help, you can provide a dinner meal for our team or an evening devotional.
